In a strategic move to avoid being relegated from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), Gombe United has made a significant announcement by hiring Bala Nikyu, a highly experienced figure in Nigerian football management, as their new Technical Adviser.

Nikyu has a wealth of experience, having previously worked as the Technical Adviser for various well-known clubs in the NPFL such as Wikki Tourists, Katsina United, and Nasarawa United.

He has also served as the head coach at Niger Tornadoes, showcasing his deep understanding of the league.

Gombe United’s decision to bring Nikyu on board comes at a critical time as they prepare for the remaining NPFL matches.

The club hopes that Nikyu’s leadership will help them overcome the challenges they face and secure their position in the league.

Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, the General Manager of Gombe United, has expressed confidence in Nikyu’s abilities, highlighting his track record and tactical skills.

Yellow believes that Nikyu’s experience will be crucial in building a strong team that can meet the expectations of the fans and stakeholders.

Nikyu’s appointment reflects Gombe United’s dedication to improving their coaching staff and performance in the NPFL. As the club looks ahead to the next phase of their season, all eyes will be on Nikyu as he takes on his new role and strives to lead Gombe United to success on the field.
