Obidient group urges calm amid Labour Party court ruling

The Obidient Harmonization Forum (OHF) has called on its members nationwide to remain calm and steadfast in light of the recent Court of Appeal judgment involving Barrister Julius Abure and the Labour Party.
Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered In a press statement released by the office of the National Chairman, Hon. Joseph Enan Maigari, the group reassured members of its unwavering commitment to the ideals of justice, equity, and good governance.
The statement, signed by Ibraheemalfa Abdulrasheed, Media Aide to the National Chairman, emphasized that Obidients should remain patient and await further directives from their principal, Peter Obi.
“We urge all members to remain calm as we await the guidance of our principal, who will provide clarity on the next steps. Together, we can navigate this challenge and emerge stronger,” the statement read.
The OHF highlighted that the Obidient movement has always been a beacon of hope for Nigerians, advocating for a better nation built on the foundations of justice and equity.
It called on members to hold steadfast to these principles, which have defined the movement since its inception.
“We reaffirm our commitment to the values and principles that have guided the Obidient movement to this day.
“These principles will continue to be our guiding light on the path to the Nigeria of our dreams,” the group declared.
The Labour Party, which has been a central pillar of the Obidient movement, has faced legal and political challenges in recent months.
The recent court decision regarding its leadership has further tested the resilience of the party and its supporters.
However, the OHF expressed confidence in the movement’s ability to weather these storms.
The statement also expressed gratitude to Obidient members for their patience, loyalty, and dedication to the cause.
“We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
“Together, we will overcome this challenge and emerge stronger as a united force,” the group assured.
The Obidient Harmonization Forum has been at the forefront of promoting the ideals championed by Peter Obi, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s political landscape.
As the movement navigates this critical period, its leaders remain optimistic about achieving their shared vision of a just and equitable Nigeria.
