Osinbajo Meets Nigerians in Accra, Ghana [photos]

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) met with Nigerians in Ghana Last night, September 15, 2020).

Vice President Osinbajo also met with representatives of the Nigerian Community in Accra, Ghana.

Recall that the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity in the office of the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande had announced Osinbajo’s departure from Abuja to attend ECOWAS extraordinary summit on Mali in Accra.

Prof. Osinbajo represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the summit where he joined other leaders in the sub-region to discuss the political crisis in Mali and the security situation in the sub region at large.

The Accra meeting formed part of several efforts by leaders in the sub region to resolve Mali’s political crisis.

While in Accra, the Vice President meet with representatives of the Nigerian community in Ghana to discuss issues bothering on their well-being in the West African country.

Accompanying the Vice President is the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Amb Zubairu Dada.

Prof Osinbajo is expected back in Abuja today at the end of his engagements in Ghana.
