The self acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government in exile, Mr Simon Ekpa, will be arrested in the United Kingdom if he fails to abort his planned trip, a reliable source told NewsBand Newspaper.

This is coming after the Finland based fugitive announced on Monday his readiness to visit the United Kingdom chapter of the separatist movement.

He said, “The Biafra Prime Minister will visit Biafrans in the United Kingdom on the 15.12.2023. 8pm Biafra time and 7pm UK time.”

Ekpa who claim to command Biafra Liberation Fighters in the Southeast—a rogue militia group, has aggravated the security situation in the region through his criminal activities.

Scores of security operatives and civilians have been killed, with many businesses destroyed after he pulled out of the Indigenous People Of Biafra to float his own group.

A source close to separatist movement speaking with NewsBand over the planned visit to the United Kingdom, said the Ebonyi born rabble rouser will be definitely arrested since the Finnish authorities has refused to take decisive action against his destructive activities in the Eastern region of Nigeria.

The source said, “I have been reliably informed that if Mr Simon Ekpa should step his foot into the United Kingdom, he will be arrested and meant to face the consequences of his actions in Nigeria”.

Though, the source refused to disclose if his arrest will be effected by the United Kingdom government or their Nigerian counterpart.

Meanwhile, Ekpa through his treasonable actions has continued to frustrate every efforts made by the leaders of thought from the Southeast region to ensure the release of the embattled leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu who has been in the custody of the Department of State Security (DSS) after he was renditioned by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
