Police in Delta State has arrested a suspected cultist involved in negotiating the purchase of an AK-47 rifle for N1.3 million.
Spokesman of the command, SP Bright Edafe disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
The police image maker said that the suspect is a well known member of the Vikings confraternity.
During interrogation, the suspect reportedly admitted being in the process of acquiring the firearm.
Edafe said, “He said he belong to Vikings Confraternity and was vying for number 1 position and the condition to get the position is to own an AK-47 rifle.
“He was arrested while negotiating to buy the AK-47 rifle for N1,300,000.”
