Presidential Contestants Say Buhari Has “No Powers To Fire CJN”

Eight presidential contenders in next month’s elections have unanimously stated that the president of Nigeria has no power to remove a Chief Justice of Nigeria.

This was made known during a presidential debate organized by Nigerian Youths Decide which held in Abuja on Saturday January 26th.

During a lightning round where contestants were tested for decisive leadership by answering in 5 seconds, each candidate was posed the question “does the president have the power to fire the Chief Justice of Nigeria?”
