Regina Daniels Breaks Silence As Ned Nwoko Denies Abuse Claims

(DDM) – Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken out for the first time since a viral video sparked allegations of domestic abuse against her husband, billionaire politician Prince Ned Nwoko.
Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the video, which circulated widely earlier in the week, showed the actress appearing distressed and tearful, prompting concerns from fans and speculation of violence within her marriage.
The short clip ignited a wave of online reactions, with some social media users accusing Nwoko of domestic abuse, while others questioned the authenticity of the video, suggesting it might have been taken out of context.
In a swift reaction, Prince Ned Nwoko dismissed the abuse claims as false, stating that Regina Daniels had been battling drug and alcohol addiction.
He alleged that her reported erratic behavior in the video stemmed from a relapse episode and not from any form of domestic violence.
However, Regina Daniels appeared to put the controversy to rest on Saturday when she shared a calm and cheerful video on her Instagram story.
In the clip, the actress could be seen aboard a private jet, smiling and chatting with individuals whose faces were not clearly visible.
The post came without any captions addressing the allegations, but her relaxed demeanor seemed to counter public fears about her safety.
Sources close to the couple told DDM that the actress has been under intense emotional strain due to constant public scrutiny and online bullying.
They revealed that both Regina and Nwoko have been working privately to resolve personal and family issues away from social media.
This controversy marks one of several public storms in the couple’s high-profile marriage, which has frequently attracted attention due to their age difference and Nwoko’s political prominence.
Fans have since flooded Regina’s recent post with supportive messages, urging her to stay strong and avoid online drama.
As of press time, the actress has yet to issue an official statement addressing the alleged abuse or her husband’s claims of substance addiction.
Meanwhile, women’s rights activists and entertainment insiders continue to call for more transparency and accountability within celebrity relationships, warning that the line between publicity and personal pain often becomes dangerously blurred.

NCAA Moves to Sanction VeryDarkMan, Mr Jollof After In-Flight Fight
The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has confirmed it will sanction social media influencers Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan) and Freedom Atsepoyi (Mr Jollof).
The decision follows a physical altercation between the two men aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos on Monday.
In a post on X, Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NCAA, described the incident as “unacceptable behaviour” and highlighted the danger it posed to passengers and crew.
“There is no tolerance for unruly behaviour aboard an aircraft. Both individuals will face the full strength of the law,” he warned.
He added:
“It is even more shameful when one considers both of them are partners in educating their millions of followers to avoid unruly behaviour.”
The NCAA spokesperson urged the airline to report the incident officially, emphasizing the risk to passenger safety, crew, and the aircraft itself.
“The NCAA has exerted a lot of energy and resources educating passengers about the dangers of unruly behaviour. In this case, no excuse makes it acceptable,” Achimugu stressed.
According to reports, the fight was the result of an online feud between the influencers that escalated into a physical confrontation inside the cabin. Passengers and crew intervened to calm the situation.
Following the incident, VeryDarkMan posted a video on his Facebook page claiming responsibility for confronting Mr Jollof:
“I don chop Jollof father for inside the plane. He bite me, man wey de bite,” he wrote.
The NCAA confirmed it is awaiting detailed reports from the airline and flight crew. A full statement will follow once the facts are verified.
This case highlights the seriousness of in-flight safety violations, particularly when public figures set poor examples for their followers.
NCAA has reiterated its commitment to passenger education and zero tolerance for disruptive behaviour.

Nicki Minaj to Speak at UN on Alleged Christian Genocide in Nigeria
American rapper Onika Maraj-Petty, widely known as Nicki Minaj, will speak at a United Nations event in New York on Tuesday.
She is expected to address fresh allegations of jihadist attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria.
The event will feature US Ambassador to the UN, Michael Waltz, and Alex Bruesewitz, a senior adviser to President Donald Trump.
Bruesewitz is also the main convener of the programme.
The development first surfaced through Eric Cortellessa, a senior political correspondent with Time Magazine.
He confirmed it on his X handle late Sunday.
Ambassador Waltz praised Minaj.
He described her as “not only arguably the greatest female recording artist, but also a principled individual who refuses to remain silent in the face of injustice.”
He thanked the rapper for using her global platform to highlight what he called “the atrocities against Christians in Nigeria.”
Minaj responded with gratitude.
She said she valued the opportunity and did not take the responsibility lightly.
According to her, she would “never stand down in the face of injustice,” stressing that her influence carried a greater purpose.
The planned appearance follows President Trump’s recent claim that a “Christian genocide” is taking place in Nigeria.
His administration has already redesignated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern.
He also urged the US Congress to take immediate action.
Minaj applauded Trump for speaking out on the issue.
However, the Nigerian Federal Government has strongly dismissed the allegations.
It insists that insecurity in the country is driven by crime, banditry, and economic factors, not religion.
Despite the government’s position, several US officials continue to express concern.
They warn that Christian communities in Nigeria remain vulnerable to violent attacks linked to extremist groups.
Nicki Minaj’s participation has sparked global reactions.
Many observers say her presence will draw massive international attention to the debate on religious persecution in Nigeria.

Burna Boy Kicks Out Couple for Sleeping During US Concert Performance
Grammy-winning Nigerian star Burna Boy has sparked fresh controversy after ejecting a couple from his Denver, United States concert for allegedly sleeping during his performance.
The incident happened midway through his show on Wednesday night when the self-styled African Giant paused his set and called out the pair sitting near the front of the stage.
Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, expressed visible anger as he addressed the man in the crowd.
“When I stand up here and see you over there with your girl sleeping in front of me, it pisses me off,” he said. “Please, take her home. I’m not performing another song till you go home.”
The female fan initially appeared reluctant to leave, but the crowd joined the singer in urging the couple to exit.
They eventually walked out, and Burna Boy resumed his performance to loud cheers from the audience.
The moment quickly went viral online, with mixed reactions from fans.
While some supported Burna Boy’s decision, others criticized him for being disrespectful to paying concertgoers.
Critics argued that a fan’s fatigue should not warrant public embarrassment, especially after spending money on tickets.
Supporters, however, defended Burna Boy, claiming the couple’s behavior was disrespectful to the artist and his effort on stage.
This isn’t the first time Burna Boy has clashed with fans during live shows.
In the past, he reportedly removed a fan from his concert for standing still during a song, and once ejected another who ran onto the stage to hug him.
Known for his fiery temper and bold personality, Burna Boy’s stage antics have often sparked debate over his relationship with fans and his expectations of audience participation.
Despite the controversy, the singer continues his U.S. tour, attracting thousands of fans to his sold-out concerts across major cities.
