Following the forceful removal of the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu from office, a former senator who represented Kaduna Central at the red carpet chamber, Mr Shehu Sani, has mocked the loyalists of former president Muhammadu Buhari, describing them as orphans in APC.
News Band reports that Adamu tendered his resignation when he got wind that two influential personalities around president Bola Tinubu had mobilised against him ahead of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party slated for today and Wednesday.
Senator Shehu Sani who took to his official Twitter handle to mock Buhari supporters, said that Mr Tinubu was kicking out the loyalists of the former president out of the party.
He said, “The Buharists are now orphans; they are purged in their part”.
Also, News Band reported that Tinubu in a bid to cement his political hegemony, launched a vicious manhunt for Northern leaders perceived to be enemies to his presidency.
The latest to fall to his political dagger was Senator Abdullahi Adamu who is said to be in a running battle with the president after he was accused of being antagonistic to his presidential ambition.
