Russia continues to attack Ukraine
Ukrainian Air Force reports overnight attacks

The last may not have been heard of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, as on Friday night Russia attacked Ukraine again.
As the world reels over Friday’s exchange of words between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, CNN reports that overnight, Russian carried out attacks on Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Air Force said in a post on Telegram Saturday morning that Russia attacked Ukraine with at least 154 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Ukraine’s emergency service announced Saturday that one person was killed and three others were injured in a Russian drone strike on the Odesa region overnight.
The strike set fire to a house, the emergency services said, as well as trucks and cars on the premises.
This attack marks the latest escalation in the ongoing conflict between both countries.
The attack comes after a series of recent incidents, including Russia firing over 210 attack drones and seven kh_101 cruise missiles at Ukraine on February 25.
Ukrainian air defnse units claimed to have shot down six kh-101s and 133 attack drones.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing since 2014, with tensions escalating significantly in 2022.
The international community has condemned Russia’s actions, with European Union imposing sanctions and providing significant financial and military support to Ukraine.
Top EU diplomats had expressed shock and disappointment over the accusations President Trump levelled against Zelensky in their war of words on Friday.
The world waits to see reactions that would follow this overnight attack by Russia on Ukraine.
