Soludo wasting Anambra’s resources on amusement while people starve, Ozigbo blasts governor
DDM News

Valentine Ozigbo has harshly criticized Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo over President Tinubu’s recent visit.
Ozigbo, a former APC governorship aspirant, condemned the projects commissioned during the visit as exaggerated and lacking true value as gathered by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM).
He described the ceremony as political optics rather than genuine developmental impact.
According to him, the event was meant to deceive the public and cover up the administration’s failures.
Ozigbo accused the Soludo-led government of neglecting its core responsibilities over the past three years.
He said the state continues to suffer from widespread poverty, insecurity, and collapsing infrastructure.
The former Transcorp CEO lamented the deteriorating condition of roads, schools, and health centres across various communities.
He questioned why such essential needs are overlooked in favour of cosmetic projects.
Ozigbo expressed strong disapproval of using public funds to construct an amusement park in the state.
He believes such a project should be left to private investors, not funded by taxpayers.
According to him, the amusement park neither feeds the hungry nor creates meaningful jobs for the unemployed.
He argued that it adds no real value to the lives of struggling residents.
He warned that the project is a misplaced priority in the face of rising economic hardship.
Ozigbo also highlighted the rising cost of living and worsening housing conditions in the state capital, Awka.
He said many residents live in fear due to growing insecurity across Anambra.
The former aspirant noted that Governor Soludo has failed to address these critical concerns.
He accused the administration of focusing on empty shows instead of people-centered governance.
Ozigbo said true leadership must be measured by real impact, not stage-managed inaugurations.
He stressed that Anambra citizens deserve honest, accountable, and results-driven governance.
His statement reflects growing public dissatisfaction with the current administration’s direction and priorities.
Ozigbo’s criticism joins a broader call for transparency and development-focused leadership in Anambra.
