The Super Eagles’ camp in Abidjan has received a boost with the arrival of OGC Nice star Terem Moffi, bringing the total number of players to 25, according to DiasporaDigitalMedia. Moffi joined his teammates at the Pullman Hotel base on Sunday night, filling the spot left by the injured Victor Boniface, who underwent surgery in Berlin after sustaining a groin injury in training.

The striker is set to participate in the Super Eagles’ training at the Ecole Nationale de la Police on Monday afternoon. The session, scheduled to start at 4:00 pm local time, will be open to the media. Moffi’s inclusion comes after the Super Eagles kicked off their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea’s Nzalang Nacional on Sunday.

With their sights set on the next challenge, Jose Peseiro’s side will face the host nation, Cote d’Ivoire, in their upcoming game on Thursday. The arrival of Moffi adds depth and options to the Super Eagles’ squad as they aim for a strong performance in the ongoing AFCON tournament.
