Tinubu signs North-Central Development Commission bill into law

President Bola Tinubu has signed the North-Central Development Commission Establishment Bill 2024 into law.

The North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum expressed gratitude to the president for his swift response.

The forum’s chairman, Saleh Zazzaga, lauded Tinubu’s leadership and commitment to regional development.

He noted that concerns over the region’s exclusion from the proposed 2025 budget had raised fears of marginalization.

With the creation of the North-Central Development Commission, the government is set to drive key initiatives.

These initiatives will focus on boosting economic development, enhancing infrastructure, and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

“The North-Central region has suffered years of neglect,” Zazzaga stated.
