UNA-Nigeria calls for nominations for Women in Leadership Awards

The United Nations Association of Nigeria (UNA-Nigeria) has officially opened nominations for the highly anticipated 2025 International Women’s Day (IWD) Women in Leadership Awards.
This prestigious event aims to celebrate and honor exceptional Nigerian women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, resilience, and impact in their respective fields.
The awards, themed “Accelerate Action,” align with the global call to advance gender equality and empower women to break barriers and excel against all odds.
UNA-Nigeria is calling on the public to nominate women who have not only achieved remarkable success but have also made significant contributions to their communities and industries.
*Nomination Criteria:
To be eligible for the award, nominees must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a female resident of Nigeria.
2. Demonstrate outstanding character and be deserving of the award.
3. Provide verifiable evidence of industry recognition and community impact.
4. Have excelled in their field despite facing significant challenges.
