The Coalition for the Protection of Democracy (COPDEM) has warmly welcomed Mr. Peter Obi to African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The pro-democracy group in a statement signed by it’s chairman, Prince Rwang Pam, said Obi’s decision to join ADC reflects a commitment to principled leadership, rejection of politics without conscience and governance without compassion.
While reiterating COPDEM’s commitment in defence of democracy, Prince Rwang noted that over 5 million members of the group stand with Peter Obi.
The statement reads: “This milestone aligns shared values of integrity, inclusion, accountability, and people-centered governance. Mr. Obi’s decision reflects a commitment to principled leadership, rejecting politics without conscience and governance without compassion. His record of prudence, transparency, and fiscal responsibility mirrors the hopes of millions seeking a Nigeria that serves all citizens.
