A young man accused of impersonating Nigerian businessman and social media personality Blord has reportedly been taken to court following allegations of fraud and identity theft.

The development was shared online after claims emerged that the suspect allegedly used Blord’s name and identity across TikTok to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

According to Blord, the young man allegedly operated multiple bank accounts linked to his name and used the accounts to receive money from people he reportedly defrauded.

Blord further alleged that more than 100 people may have fallen victim to the scheme, with the total amount involved reportedly running into millions of naira.

The businessman also claimed that the suspect admitted to the allegations during the investigation.

The case has attracted significant attention online, particularly because of the alleged scale of the impersonation and the number of people who may have been affected.

Blord also claimed that members of the suspect’s family have appealed for the matter to be resolved privately rather than through a prolonged court process.
