2 Face Partners with NDDC to Empower Niger Delta Music Talents

Iconic Nigerian musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has joined forces with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to uncover and nurture emerging music talents from the Niger Delta region.
This initiative is part of the Niger Delta Music and Arts Project (NDMAP), a flagship program under the NDDC’s Project H.O.P.E. (Holistic Opportunities and Programs for Empowerment).
On Friday, June 15, 2024, 2Face visited the NDDC Headquarters in Port Harcourt, where he met with Sir Victor Antai, Implementation Coordinator of Project HOPE and Executive Director of Projects at NDDC.
During the meeting, 2Face reaffirmed his commitment to the NDMAP, aimed at discovering and grooming artists, music producers, cinematographers, and content creators from the Niger Delta region.
The NDMAP is designed to identify and mentor talented individuals from the region, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to excel in the music industry.
By partnering with established artists like 2Face and other industry professionals, the program seeks to provide mentorship and resources to help these emerging talents reach their full potential.
Through this collaboration, 2Face will leverage his extensive experience and expertise to help shape the careers of upcoming musicians from the Niger Delta region.
The partnership is expected to have a profound impact on the music industry, as it will provide a platform for fresh talents to emerge and contribute to the region’s rich cultural heritage.
The NDDC’s Project H.O.P.E. is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering youths from the Niger Delta region through various programs and projects.
The NDMAP is one of six projects under this initiative, which also includes programs focused on education, skills development, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
