2027: Delta Governor Backs Tinubu’s Re-Election Bid, Cites Family Ties, Economic Reforms

ASABA, DELTA STATE — Delta State Governor, , has expressed support for the re-election bid of President ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing longstanding family ties and ongoing economic reforms being implemented by the Federal Government.

The governor made the remarks during a political gathering in Delta State, where he highlighted what he described as the cordial relationship between his family and that of the President, while also commending recent policy measures aimed at stabilising the nation’s economy.

Oborevwori said his support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition was based not only on personal and historical connections but also on his assessment of the administration’s efforts to address Nigeria’s economic challenges and reposition the country for sustainable growth.
