The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Seriake Dickson, has met with the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, in Abuja.
Dickson disclosed this in a post on his verified X handle on Thursday, saying the meeting was part of ongoing consultations and deliberations on issues concerning the party and Nigeria.
According to the former Bayelsa State governor, the meeting was also aimed at further deliberations and finalising decisions ahead of the unveiling of the party’s Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
“Today, I met with our party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, and the running mate, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, alongside the National Chairman and other party leaders.
“We met two days ago, and we met again today to further deliberate and finalise decisions, particularly as we prepare for the unveiling of our party’s Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections,” Dickson said.
He called on stakeholders, aspirants and other party members to unite, close ranks and work together for the success of the party’s candidates at all levels in the 2027 elections.
