Fire Outbreak at LIRS Headquarters, Alausa, Lagos, Nigeria

Just In: Fire Outbreak at the Headquarters  Lagos Inland Revenue Service on the third floor of Good Shepherd building, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria

 

The incident, which occurred on Monday, came two days after another fire consumed four offices in the state Ministry of Commerce and Industry building.

The LIRS fire was said to have started around 8:45am and razed a room in the office.

UPDATE: Fire at LIRS Headquarters, Alausa has been put out 

General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Michael Akindele, said, “The fire service officials got here three minutes after they got the distress call and were able to curtail the fire to only one office.”
