Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has declared his intention to contest in the Anambra State governorship election coming up on November 6, 2021.
A close ally of Hon. Smart and a correspondent of ElombahNews, Mr. Cornel Osigwe broke the news to this medium.
Mr. Osigwe, who is the Director of Publicity and Head of Media Department of Innoson Group and leader of Nonso Smart for Governor Media Team, stated:
“Hello Anambrarians,
“It is no more a rumour and it is not a hidden secret- #SMART is coming with #SMART-Governance and a #WaveOfChange.
“He doesn’t have a godfather.
“#SMARTGovernance is an idea whose time has come.”
His declaration followed the news that Chief Innocent Chukwuma, CEO Innoson Motors pulled out of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s governorship project.
Innoson endorsed Hon. Nonso Smart for the ticket of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the governorship election.
