The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu may have ignited the final inferno that will completely consume the separatist movement that once enjoyed so much popularity across the globe.
After the outlawed organization illegally dismissed some of her key pioneers in 2017, things have not been well with them. They have been jumping from one storm to another, which has further polarized and rendered the group impotent.
Although, the movement presently has turned out to be a stunning charade as the deputy leader of the Group, Uche Okafor-Mefor disassociated and lambasted Nnamdi Kanu for turning the original roadmap of the movement upside down.
The controversial dust raised by Mefor’s open attack against the group, warranted Nnamdi Kanu to hurriedly abolish the position of the deputy leader through his puppet and tele-guided Directorate Of State (DOS); the highest decision making body of the movement.
IPOB is been rattled by a massive resignation from her principal officers. Some of the officers cited lies and misappropriation of funds as reasons for their humble resignation while others said they left because the movement lacks what it takes to restore the defunct nation of Biafra.
However, the infighting in IPOB took another unfortunate dimension on the 3rd of March as the leader of the movement, Nnamdi Kanu abused and dissolved the United Kingdom chapter of the group.
In an audio note obtained by ElombahNews, Nnamdi was heard as he was informing his listeners that the United Kingdom chapter of the movement has been dissolved and every principal officer sacked with immediate effect.
He said, “I want to make a very special announcement, so that you understand very clearly. From tonight, IPOB family in the UK is suspended. Nobody is to hold meeting with any of them. I don’t care who you are or what business you have, the IPOB is dissolved. All of them dissolved. Dissolved, completely dissolved.
“You don’t do anything with them at all! If I hear you are holding meetings with them, you are off! Dissolved! Grown up men behaving like little children. Unbelievable! I even believe that British secret intelligence agency is running IPOB in the UK. All of them from top to bottom is useless.
“Disgraceful and shameful! Behaving like a bunch of rats in a cage. These are supposedly decent men and women. I don’t know what they said to them.
“UK IPOB shut down until further notice. Shut down. Everybody in the position of authority resign. In fact, sacked, completely sacked. All of you, from top to bottom, sacked. And those holding our funds should move it as quick as possible to Germany. If you have to shut down the account, so be it.
“I held a meeting with them yesterday, very disgraceful. Shameful! Shameful! Disgraceful!
“At this particular time in our history, all you are interested is building cabals left, right and center. You think that’s how Biafra is going to be? You build cabals inside Biafra, you must be mad. It can’t happen.
“UK shut down completely. I mean, every strata of our leadership is shut down, complete”.
