Presiding Bishop of Overcomers Faith Cathedral and CAN/PFN Chairman Adamawa State, Rt Rev.Dr Mike Moses in a sermon to mark his 54th birthday in Yola stressed that the enemies of Nigeria are standing toes and nails to dismantle the unity and togetherness of the country.
Mike called on Nigerians to cultivate the habit of prayers in order to sustain the peace, unity and the one Nigeria bounded in the spirit which our ancestors envisioned it to be.
”Is only Prayers of Nigerians will sustain the unity and the one Nigeria spirit known for, let me tell you,the enemies of Nigeria are too many, fighting day and night to see the country disintegrated and break up through the blood of Sons and Daughters of God.
”The only thing we have to use in righting back is Prayers through His word,and it remains the weapon that is mighty enough to keep us together.” Moses Said
Mike in his sermon entitle ”’Faith” described prayers as a modern weapon of war that can easily smash down the walls of our Jericho by generating it through the word of God.
”If we can give God our total loyalty we can climb up our mountains of pains in Nigeria as it is the only thing God wants in every Christian in this world.” He added
He warn the enemies of Nigeria wearing the face of good Christian holding the helms of leadership using it in bastardizing the name of Christ should desist by being the carrier of God’s Light else they incur His wrath.
”Nigeria is one and remain so till eternity to come and i m also reminding any enemy of Nigeria that the country cannot be broken base on evil sentiments of few people either in form of religion, tribal or area you are claiming to be defending.”
”A child of God should not have any excuses to do evil in the name of God, if we dare to make a u-turn from our wander life of chasing shadows as blessings God will help us to compete favourable with the first class countries in the world.
“We own the principles of making wealth, but Christians in this days lack the knowledge and the wisdom of God’s words, making it hard for so many of us to make it life. Even if heaven Is our main focus Christian should be much more relevant in spending their life here on earth.” He stated
He continue the sermon by saying that all Nigerians should have the faith in the Health of President Muhammadu Buhari as the leader Man that God can still use to safe us,asking well meaning Nigerians to intensify their prayers ability to give him a revamp health.
”Our prayers to our leaders should be intensify because if they are sick we are sick, if they are derailing we are out rightly derailing too.” Mike warned
He ended his sermon with a special Prayers for Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state for God sustain him, increase him and endow him with super power wisdom to do More for the people of the State the gave him the mandate.
