Insurgency Elimination Formula: United Chaplaincy – Prof Jisos Ejie

The Commandant General of the United Nigerian Chaplaincy (UNC) Prof Jide-Jisos Ejie has described the organization as a bridge for peace, unity and reconciliation amongst citizens.
The cleric who spoke to our correspondent yesterday noted that the chaplaincy is made up of men/women of attestable character and mould who have vowed to stake their comfort, liberty and resources to instill unity and oneness among Nigerians.

That having drawn membership from notable Emirs, traditional rulers, clergies, academics and professionals from all walks of life, they have drawn a programme of action with which to eliminate insurgency, militancy, kidnapping, banditry and such anti-social acts from all parts of the country without firing a single bullet, in a record time.
He disclosed that immediately President Muhammadu Buhari gives them go ahead on the peace mission in the North East and the rest parts of the country, they would unleash their officers into the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
Prof Ejie led a top contingent of Emir of Talata Mafara, in Zamfara state, Dr Bello Mohammed Barmo, Emir of Machina(Yobe state), Bashir Bukar, other monarchs from different parts of the country, jurists, clerics and professionals on a peace/reconciliation tour of the South East visited Bishop Onyema Chukwunyere of the Royal Christian Pentecostal Bible Church, Bishop GC Nyemchi and other notable citizens in Imo State.
He used the opportunity to address body of all northerners/Muslim community and Christian community in Imo state on ways for peaceful co-existence.
He urged all to imbibe good neighborliness, peace and brotherhood.
Bishop Chukwunyere expressed confidence in the ability and commitment of members of UNC and their patrons in rediscovering the true spirit of peace and development which powered the nations struggle for independence and self-rule.
He noted that it might not come overnight but with gradual change and dialogue, workshops and seminars it would become part of the citizens’ psyche.
