Coalition of Peter Obi supporters beef up strength in Katsina

Coming from a 2hrs meeting, third in a row, of Coalition of Peter Obi Support groups in the state, Katsina leading OBI-dients are now more optimistic that their efforts at sensitizing and mobilizing for OBI-Daitti/LP Presidency will henceforth yield desired fruit.

At the end of the meeting held over the weekend, where activities of individual groups were assessed viz-a-viz levels of strengths, the coalition unanimously acknowledged that one such factor deterring her progress in the region is finance. It therefore pledged it’s resolve to build a bulk of the political structures needed by the Labour Party in the state by strategizing together in getting locals and residents alike, embrace the good tidings coming with an Obi-Daitti Presidency in 2023.

To this effect, an 18 man Finance Committee was set-up to harmonize the needs of the groups and source for funding within and outside the state to tackle their needs head-on. Members of the committee comprising of at least one person from each of the active support groups, headed by a vibrant woman-leader from the 20m Alliance 4PO block are listed as follows:

7) Mr Habu Bala (MOVECON)

The following by virtue of office, are Automatic Members of the Committee:

16) Mr Henry-Paul Njoku – Coalition Secretary

17) Mr. Mahmud Ahmad – Coalition Fin. Sec.

18) Mr. Alex Chigozie – Coalition Treasurer

While charging the committee to work hard and be transparent and accountable, the Coalition Chairman enumerated that the following areas of interest should form the basis of terms of reference for the committee:

a) Procurement of printed materials & billboards for OBI-Daitti Campaingns

b) Townhall Meetings and LGA Summits

c) Rallies and Million-Man-Marches

d) Costing and Payments for media interviews, jingles and coverages.

e) Acquisition of spot for Situation Room operations.

Accepting the huge responsibility vested on her, the committee chairperson called on all OBI-dients and lovers of the OBI-Daitti Movement who may not be able to work as field-marshals, to cooperate with the committee by donating generously or choosing a task to execute in support of the movement.
