Peace accord: Tinubu’s absence, a serious sign Nigerians must not ignore — Deji Adeyanju

Deji Adeyanju, the convener of Concerned Nigerians (CN), has warned Nigerian voters not to ignore the signs the absence of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu in the ongoing signing of peace accord by presidential candidates and chairmen of the 18 registered political parties at the International Conference Centre (ICC) is sending to them.

A check at the International Conference Center (ICC) by News Band, senator Kashim Shettima is standing in for his boss while Peter Obi, Omoyele Sowore, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso and others are present.

Though, the ruling party did not give any cogent reason for the absence of their standard flag bearer who is reportedly rumoured to be in London for medical treatment.

Adeyanju however in a statement, warned Nigerians not to ignore this grave signs and fall to the trick of collecting N5000 to sell their conscience on election day.

The Kogi born activist said, “Atiku, Kwankwaso, Obi, Sowore and others are at the Peace Pact signing but Tinubu is nowhere to be found. The signs are there already but I hope Nigerians won’t ignore as usual and vote N5k per vote.”
