A notorious bandit, Dogo-Gide, has claimed responsibility for the crashed military helicopter in Niger State which resulted in the deaths of 23 troops.
In the video, Dogo-Gide even displayed the bodies of soldiers from the wreckage of the aircraft
At the location, the wreckage of the aeroplane was discovered alongside the dead bodies of soldiers.

Recall that News Band, contradicted general reports that the MI-171 Fighter Helicopter belonging to the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) en route to Kaduna crashed in Niger State.
This medium reported that the helicopter did not actually crash but was shot down by bandits.
According to further report, the bandits also killed the pilot as well as other thirteen soldiers.
