A student of the University of Port-Harcourt identified as Mr Collins has been arrested after he butchered his girlfriend for money ritual purpose.
NewsBand gathered that the female victim who goes by the name Justina Nkang, a 300 level student of Biochemistry had earlier been declared missing after which a search party was set up to unravel the misery behind her disappearance.
It was later discovered that she was killed and dismembered by her boyfriend in his apartment.
The suspect was reportedly apprehended by the local security along NTA Road, Port-Harcourt, as he attempted to dispose the dismembered body of Justina.
Meanwhile, University of Port-Harcourt management is yet to issue a statement in respect to the unfortunate incident.
