An explosion has ripped through a section of the Trans Niger Pipeline (TNP) in Bodo Community, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The TNP is a critical federal oil transport pipeline that supplies crude to the Bonny Export Terminal in Rivers.
This medium gathered that the incident which occurred on Monday night near the ongoing Bodo-Bonny Road construction site, sent thick black smoke billowing into the sky as fire speedily spread into the surrounding mangrove.
