Rivers State appears to be in the eye of the storm as another explosion has ripped through an oil facility in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of the State on Tuesday.
News Band gathered that the latest blast occurred at a Manifold Connecting federal line in Okwawriwa area of the State.
A source, who doesn’t want to be quoted revealed that residents woke up to find a raging inferno at the facility, which is located a considerable distance from their homes.
The source noted that the facility transports petroleum products from Seplat, Agip, and Shell, moving oil from ONELGA and parts of Imo State to Brass in Bayelsa State.

Also, police authorities in Rivers State have confirmed that two persons have been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the Trans-Niger Pipeline explosion.
