Liverpool FC is nearing a deal to sign Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia CF for the 2025 season.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper will remain with Valencia for the current season before joining Liverpool next summer.

Mamardashvili has agreed to the deal, and Liverpool is now in advanced talks with Valencia for a transfer fee of €30m plus add-ons.

Initially, there were rumors of a possible loan to Bournemouth, but Valencia wants to keep Mamardashvili on loan until 2025 before releasing him.

This signing would be a strategic move for Liverpool, as Mamardashvili is seen as a potential replacement for Alisson Becker in the future.

Mamardashvili has impressed with his skills, and Liverpool is willing to pay the asking price to secure his services.

The deal is not yet finalized, but negotiations are in the final stages.

If successful, Mamardashvili would join Liverpool in the summer of 2025, providing a long-term solution for the goalkeeper position.
