Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja, where judgment in his alleged terrorism case is set to be delivered today.
The proceedings will be broadcast live on Channels TV, TVC, and AIT.
Justice James Omotosho had earlier scheduled the judgment for November 20 after Kanu declined to open his defence, asserting that he had exhausted all available options.
Kanu has consistently argued that convicting him would be unlawful, maintaining that there are no valid charges against him, as he claims the laws under which the charges were brought have been repealed.
The case has drawn significant attention, with Kanu’s prolonged detention and his stance fueling tensions and debates across the country.
