Kwara businessman and Chairman of FlowFM 92.7 and Stefolga Group, Araba Femi Sanni, has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its victory in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections.
In a statement on Sunday, Sanni also hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, describing the outcome as a product of effective leadership and coordinated campaign strategy.
He commended the APC leadership and members in the FCT for what he called a disciplined and well-executed campaign that delivered a decisive mandate in the nation’s capital.
Sanni particularly applauded Governor AbdulRazaq for his role as Chairman of the 137-member National Campaign Council, noting that his strategic direction and commitment were instrumental to the party’s success.
He also acknowledged the efforts of opposition parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party and the African Democratic Congress, saying their participation enriched the democratic contest and strengthened the electoral process.
The media entrepreneur further praised the Independent National Electoral Commission for the generally peaceful and orderly conduct of the polls, adding that the commission’s performance bolstered public confidence in the process.
“This victory is a triumph for democracy and a clear affirmation of the party’s growing grassroots appeal. I congratulate President Tinubu, the APC leadership, and all newly elected chairmen and councillors,” he said.
