The English Premier League’s most anticipated clash will see Arsenal visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Sunday evening.

According to Diaspora digital media (DDM), the match is set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. Nigerian time, with both teams aiming for crucial points.

Arsenal will seek to complete a league double over Man United after winning the reverse fixture 2-0 in December.

Jurrien Timber and William Saliba scored in that match, helping Arsenal secure a dominant victory at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest in their last Premier League outing.

Despite the setback, Arsenal remains determined to close the 16-point gap between them and league leaders Liverpool.

A victory on Sunday would reduce that deficit to 13 points, keeping Arsenal in the title race.

Meanwhile, Manchester United heads into this fixture following a narrow 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town in their last match.

New manager Ruben Amorim is eager to avoid another defeat against Arsenal and improve United’s disappointing league position.

Currently, Manchester United sits 15th on the Premier League table with just 33 points from 27 matches.

Arteta has acknowledged United’s potential, having observed their performance against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League.

There are no new injury concerns for Arsenal, but key players remain sidelined for this crucial encounter.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are still unavailable, along with long-term absentees Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Myles Lewis-Skelly is set to return after serving his suspension following a red card against West Ham United.

On the other hand, Manchester United is facing a growing injury crisis ahead of this match.

Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte missed the Real Sociedad trip after sustaining knocks against Fulham in their last game.

January signing Patrick Dorgu is suspended, further limiting Amorim’s defensive options against Arsenal.

Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo are ruled out due to injuries, adding to United’s squad problems.

Mason Mount, Jonny Evans, and Luke Shaw remain unavailable, leaving Amorim with limited experienced players.

Lisandro Martinez is out for the season after undergoing ACL surgery, weakening United’s defensive line.

Backup goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton are also unavailable, creating concerns over goalkeeping depth.

With mounting injuries, Amorim faces a tough challenge in selecting a strong lineup against Arsenal.

A win for Manchester United would lift them from 15th place and boost their chances of a higher finish.

For Arsenal, securing victory means completing a league double and staying in contention for the Premier League title.

Liverpool defeated Southampton 3-1 on Saturday, making this match even more critical for Arsenal’s title ambitions.
