The Lagos task team has posted notifications about the vacation orders on the complex’s businesses.

A 24-hour notice to depart has been handed to all the vendors of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) commercial complex in Computer Village, Ikeja, by the Lagos State Government.

The Lagos task team has posted notifications about the vacation orders on the complex’s businesses.

It was discovered that the POWA Phase I and II had become troubled, vandalized, and decaying, which is why the government issued the quit notice.

The traders assert that Achieving Greatness Limited presented the demolition plan to the National Market Leader and the National President of POWA.

Journalists were informed by the impacted traders that a court ruling had halted the intended destruction.

“We could organize a nonviolent demonstration to express our discontent,” one of them said.

On December 20, a few merchants at the mall demonstrated against the government’s plan to demolish the property.

The building’s occupants claimed that Elizabeth Egbetokun, the wife of the Inspector-General of Police, had issued the order to demolish the property.
