Iran’s Khamenei slams US nuclear offer, pledges to press on with uranium enrichment

Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz has described Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as “the modern Hitler” and “cannot continue to exist.”

Katz made the remark on Thursday when he visited the site of this morning’s missile strike in Holon.

He said that under the IDF’s war goals, “without question this man (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) should not continue to exist.”

“A dictator like Khamenei, who heads a country like Iran and has made the destruction of the State of Israel his declared goal, this horrific goal of destroying Israel, cannot be allowed to continue or materialize,” he told newsmen.

Meanwhile, nearly a week after Israel’s surprise attack on Iran, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that Iran will “NOT surrender,” as Israel seeks to eliminate its nuclear program.

“War will be met with war, bombing with bombing, and strike with strike. Iran will not submit to any demands or dictates,” Khamenei said in comments carried by Tasnim, Iran’s semi-official state news agency.

His remarks follow a call from President Donald Trump to surrender.

Khamenei, who has led Iran for over 35 years, has gone into hiding in the wake of Israel’s surprise assault.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not ruled out targeting Khamenei amid the conflict, which has seen the two countries conduct daily aerial attacks.
