What Iran’s Supreme Leader Just Revealed About U.S. Bases Will Shock You

Iran’s Khamenei claims victory over Israel, US in speech
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has vowed swift retaliation against the United States if Iran is attacked again.
In his first public address since the Iran-Israel ceasefire, Khamenei warned that U.S. bases in the region would be targeted directly in any future conflict.
Speaking in a pre-recorded televised message on Thursday, June 26, 2025, Khamenei declared Iran’s military response a “slap in the face” to the U.S.
He confirmed that Tehran had struck a key American base in Qatar during the 12-day war.
“The Islamic Republic slapped America in the face,” Khamenei said, flanked by an Iranian flag and a portrait of revolutionary leader Ruhollah Khomeini.
“This was not a small incident. And it can be repeated.”
The statement follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat to strike again if Iran resumes nuclear enrichment.
Khamenei dismissed the threat, saying Iran will never surrender to American pressure.
“Trump said Iran must surrender. That will never happen,” Khamenei said.
“He has revealed what America really wants submission.”
The war between Iran and Israel ended in a fragile ceasefire just days ago, brokered with U.S. involvement.
Both countries have since claimed victory.
Iran hailed its missile barrage as a breakthrough, while Israel and the U.S. insisted Tehran’s nuclear program had been crippled.
Trump claimed last weekend that 30,000-pound bombs had “obliterated” Iranian nuclear sites.
But conflicting reports from U.S. intelligence suggest that Iran’s nuclear capabilities may have only been temporarily delayed — not destroyed.
Khamenei also questioned those claims, calling the strikes ineffective.
“The U.S. attacked our nuclear facilities, but couldn’t do anything meaningful,” he said. “All their showmanship was for the cameras.”
He further accused the U.S. of joining the conflict out of fear that Israel would collapse under Iran’s missile strikes.
“They entered the war to save the Zionist regime. Without their help, it would have been destroyed,” he said.
In a show of unity, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a photo of himself holding hands with Trump, captioned:
“We will continue to work together to defeat our common enemies.”
