Life Is Short: Zion Urges Urgent Repentance Before It’s Too Late
DDM News

ZION CITY, NIGERIA – July 8, 2025 At the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO), worshippers gathered on Day 4 of the ongoing spiritual program were delivered a sobering reminder of life’s brevity and the urgency of repentance.
Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that the message, themed “Amend Your Ways, For Life Is Short And Nobody Knows The Day And Hour,” emphasized the inevitable reality of death and the unpredictability of its timing.
Referencing Mark 13:32–37, Hebrews 9:27, and Revelation 21:7–8, the sermon painted a vivid picture of the certainty of death and the judgment that follows.
According to the Spiritual Director, Prophet Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, death is an unavoidable journey fixed by divine mandate, beyond human control or manipulation.
He stated that it is a day only known to God, a moment programmed in eternity when every human must obey a call that cannot be ignored, resisted, or reversed.
Prophet Obi likened death to an uninvited guest who, once he arrives, commands your departure from the world without negotiation or delay.
On that day, the body ceases to function, and the soul is taken to an unknown destination where accountability awaits.
The Spiritual Director reminded the congregation that after death comes judgment, as declared in Hebrews 9:27.
He warned that wealth, fame, or possessions will not follow anyone beyond the grave.
He described the moment of death as a time when one sleeps without waking, steps out without returning, and gradually fades from memory.
Quoting 1 Corinthians 2:9, he emphasized the unimaginable glory prepared for those who love God and live righteously.
Prophet Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi issued a strong call to repentance, urging everyone to amend their ways while they still have life and breath.
He stressed that no one can repent after death and that the grave offers no second chance.
He warned that refusing to repent while alive leads to eternal loss.
According to him, every individual has a divine appointment they cannot cancel, reschedule, or delay.
In his prayer declaration, he expressed hope that God would grant participants the grace to turn from sin and pursue righteousness before it is too late.
The Spiritual Director prophesied that God would help participants experience real transformation.
He declared that their change would be spontaneous, permanent, and irreversible through God’s mercy and grace.
Attendees were then led in heartfelt prayer points, seeking the grace of final repentance, transformation, and deliverance from sin’s bondage.
Special prayers were also offered for the Spiritual Director, Prophet Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, and the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach.
The teachings continue to resonate across Zion City and among followers of ZPMO worldwide, known for its spiritually charged programs and prophetic encounters.
As the program progresses, participants remain expectant for divine visitations that bring lasting change and eternal security.
