Nigerian journalists currently in Cote D’Ivoire to cover the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, say cost of living and operating the francophone West African country is so high.

They also expressed big surprise that naira, the Nigerian currency is very much a legal tender in the country.

“That is the only pleasant surprise here considering the cost living here,” said Abdul Momoh, Confederation of Africa Football, CAF, accredited photojournalist told DDM in chat this morning.
