Citizens of Anambra State have decried the bad governance that has befallen the state since the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano mounted the saddle.

In the words of Citizen Chekwube Ezealor, “Anambra State Indigenes and residence have confirmed that the Executive Governor of Anambra State ,Willie Obiano have abandoned the grounds and choose to be working only on billboards .”

The angry Chekwube who went on to state that, “there are Billboards all over the state with the inscription “Willie Is Working” while there is no serious work going on in the state .

The responsibility of any serious govt is not erecting Billboards but to work the work and allow its citizens to appraise the work and talk the talk.”

The young Anambrarian who wrote on his Facebook wall stated that, “Unless Governor Willie and his All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] government retrace their steps, climb down from Signposts/Billboards and work on ground, I can sight APGA loose Anambra State …”

He insists that “If APGA is still hoping to use their old method to win an election, they should forget about it because it is now outdated and can no longer sale.

They better use that money they will spend doing Campaign and do tangible things in the state.

They should also be aware that nobody will drink there Igbo Party drugs again. A Stitch in time saves nine,” he said.

Just last week, this correspondent, in an article titled “Education backslides in Anambra State under Gov Obiano”, lamented the astronomical rate Anambra State is retarding in the field of education.

Elombah.com reported that prior to the coming of Obiano, Anambra State was known for her first position as the best performing state in NECO, WAEC, SSCE and JAMB exams .

Two years after Obiano, Anambra State could not find her name in the first ten as Kwara State, Lagos State and Imo State lead in the WAEC exams, while Delta State and Edo lead in NECO exam.

The reported stated clearly that today, Anambra is going backward instead of forward.

Ndi Anambra must get ready to redirect their governance Ship.

With what we have today, great men and women created by a great god must stand to save a great state.
