ADC to inaugurate Chapter, State Working Committee

Following significant progress under the leadership of Hon. DGD Udom, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is set to inaugurate the State Chairman and the State Working Committee in Akwa Ibom State.

The inauguration will take place on Thursday, 26 July 2024, at the party’s secretariat located at 84 Udotung Ubo Street, Uyo. The event will mark a historic moment for the party, being the first of its kind since establishment.

Speaking to the press about the occasion last weekendHon. DGD Udom, the party chairman, stated that the inauguration would not only appoint individuals to various offices but also signal a new chapter for the party in Akwa Ibom State.

Hon. Udom announced that prominent party figures, including the National Chairman who also serves as National Working Committee Chairman, High Chief Ralph Nwosu, and South-South Zonal Leader Mr. Festus Igbinoba, are expected to attend.

He encouraged former, new, and prospective party members to attend the event, promising a celebration filled with excitement.

“The event will be a signal to Akwa Ibomites about the new chapter for the African Democratic Congress.In the space of one and a half months since taking over as chairman. “we have acquired a well-furnished party secretariat, 31 Local Government chapter chairmen with their executives, 329 Ward Chairmen about to be inaugurated immediately after the state inauguration of the working committee in addition, a website/portal for membership registration and News Items about the party has been launched . Also, Facebook page, and weekly publications among other numerous achievements.” He stated.
