The Anambra State Police Command has begun its lineup of activities for the 2026 National Police Day with a statewide sanitation exercise and a free medical outreach programme.

The initiative was carried out across the Command’s eight Area Commands and 56 divisional headquarters, where officers participated in environmental clean-up efforts aimed at promoting hygiene and public safety within communities.

As part of the activities, the Command also organized a medical outreach that provided residents and police personnel with access to basic health screenings and consultations. The programme highlights the Nigeria Police Force’s broader role beyond law enforcement, extending to community welfare and public health support.
