The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has dismissed the appeal filed by former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP], Mr. Olisa Metuh seeking for release of his travel documents to enable him embark on a medical trip abroad.
The appellate court, on Wednesday, agreed with the ruling of the Federal High Court which had earlier declined his request.
Citing reasons for its decision, the appellate court said Metuh’s appeal did not disclosed verifiable medical reasons for seeking to travel abroad for treatment.
The court, therefore, ruled that it will constitute an abuse of court process is granted.
The petition was thrown out for lack of merit.
