Victor Boniface’s highly anticipated transfer to Al Nassr has fallen through, with the Saudi club opting to sign Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán instead.

Despite reports suggesting the deal was nearly finalized, Al Nassr never gave the green light, and Boniface will now remain at Bayer Leverkusen.

This development comes as a surprise, given the seriousness and the significant financial package reportedly offered to Boniface.

A delegation from the Saudi club had traveled to Germany to tie up the deal.

Boniface’s impressive performance record at Bayer Leverkusen, where he scored eight goals in 15 matches this season, made him a sought-after player.

For now, Boniface will continue to play for Bayer Leverkusen, and fans will be eager to see how this development affects his performance on the pitch.
