Charly Boy reacts to the cost of Nyesom Wike’s drink

Charly Boy, the renowned Nigerian personality known for his roles as a singer, songwriter, television presenter, actor, publisher, activist, and producer, has expressed his reaction on social media regarding the expense of the drink consumed by Nyesom Wike and Fayose during a recent meeting. Following Fayose’s visit to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, photos from the encounter surfaced online, prompting Charly Boy to share his thoughts on the cost of the beverage.

Taking to his official Instagram page, Charly Boy disclosed that the drink shared by the two politicians is a 40-year-old vintage, revealing its staggering price of 15 million naira. In his post, he emphasized the exorbitant nature of the beverage by highlighting that its cost equates to the cumulative salary of an individual for 35 years, including gratuities and pensions.

In his Words, “Una see that drink for Wike’s table? It is 40 years old, 2022 release. It costs about 15 million naira, that is some person’s salary for 35 years plus gratuities and pensions”, Charly Boy wrote and it stirred massive reactions from the general public. However, the news headline prompted significant responses from various social media users upon its dissemination across platforms. Many users expressed their opinions in the comments section in reaction to the news.
