Musa: ‘IPOB will always want to deny their Involvement in southwest insecurity, but we all know it’s them’

The Nigerian Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa, said that IPOB will always want to deny their Involvement in southwest insecurity, but we all know it’s them.
As gathered by the Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Musa made the statement during a morning show on Arise News on Saturday.
The morning show was titled: “NIGERIAN MILITARY AND EMERGING SECURITY THREATS.”
The chief of defence staff said “with the arrest of Simon Ekpa, people are speaking up in the South East for the first time.
“The sit at home is being watered down and we are sure it’s going to stop immediately.
“We are working together with the government to discuss with everybody, because we realize that fighting warfare is about communication.
“We are bringing everyone together to make them know they have responsibility to do.
While Musa was asked that is it IPOB that is the problem in South East or is it hired political thugs that are taking advantage, he answered: “they will always want to deny it, but basically everybody knows they are the ones behind it.
He said those perpetuating insecurity in the South-east are quite learned, unlike the north, so they know the implications of what they are doing and deny it to avoid prosecution.
However, Musa stated the cooperation of the defence team and the presidency to prosecute anyone found in any illegal act.
