In their last performance, each contestant gave their all, striving to convince the judges and viewers that they deserved to win the coveted prize.

Chima’s soulful delivery of “Not the Girl” by Dare Art Alade and “As” by Stevie Wonder left the judges in awe, while Chioma’s rendition of “Kuchi Kuchi” by Jodie and “One Night Only” by Jennifer Hudson impressed the audience.

Lammy’s heartfelt performance of “African Queen” by 2baba (formerly 2face) and “Hallelujah” by Alexander Burke was also applauded by the guests.

With this win, Chima takes home the Nigerian Idol season 9 trophy and the associated prizes, cementing their place in the music industry.

Nigerian Idol is the local version of the Idol series franchise. It is the second Idol franchise for the country as it was already part of Idols West Africa[1] which was also shot and produced in StockholmSweden.
