Canadian superstar Drake has set social media ablaze after turning the rollout of his upcoming album Iceman into a live street spectacle in downtown Toronto.

The rapper unveiled a massive ice installation placed in the parking area of the Bond Hotel, instructing fans that the official release date of the project was locked inside the frozen structure. The unusual promotion immediately drew huge crowds, transforming the area into a chaotic but energetic fan zone.

Within hours of the announcement, supporters flooded the location armed with all kinds of makeshift tools in an attempt to break through the thick ice. Videos circulating online show fans using axes, hammers, and even flamethrowers, while others tried slower methods such as hairdryers and heat sources to melt the block.

Some dedicated fans reportedly camped overnight at the site, determined to be the first to uncover the hidden information once the ice gave way. The scene quickly became a mix of excitement, impatience, and spectacle, with police and hotel staff monitoring the growing crowd.

The stunt is the latest in a series of attention-grabbing promotional moves tied to the Iceman rollout. Earlier in the month, Drake sparked conversation after transforming his courtside seating area at the Scotiabank Arena into an icy installation, further building anticipation for the project.

He also previously drew attention during a music video shoot in North York, where a controlled explosion effect caused confusion among residents, later prompting clarification from local officials that it was part of production.

Iceman will mark Drake’s first solo studio album since 2023’s For All the Dogs, and is expected to feature high-profile collaborations and production from names such as Tay Keith and OZ, alongside rumored appearances from artists like Central Cee and YEAT.

With each rollout stunt, anticipation for the album continues to grow, as Drake blends marketing creativity with large-scale public experiences that keep fans engaged worldwide.
