Emeka Ike announces return to Nollywood

Veteran Nollywood actor, Mr. Emeka Ike has announced his return to Nollywood after a long break.

In a conversation with NollyNow, Mr. Ike reflected on the significant strides he made during his absence.

Speaking, he mentioned how stepping away allowed him to establish more iconic brands for himself.

He also mentioned that stepping away from the industry gave him the chance to explore politics.

Ike had disappeared from the screen following the end of his marriage to Suzanne, a half-Dutch, half-Nigerian.

The marriage, entered into in 2000 and blessed with four children, ended in 2015.

“My absence wasn’t really bad because it created room for me to build more brands apart from Emeka you know.

“I now own Nollywood TV on Startimes and I am building other brands that are highly in demand,” Emeka stated.

The actor was celebrated for his roles in films like “Deadly Affair,” “Not Man Enough,” “Passion, Pain and Foreign Affair,” and “Wayward Child”.

He expressed his return to entertain his fans and fulfill expectations as one of Nollywood’s pioneer actors.

Emeka noted: “We are breaking the ice once again.

“I want to keep entertaining my fans and give them what is expected from me,” the actor added.

His divorce

Emeka Ike was formerly married to Suzanne Emma for 14 years.

Unfortunately, their marriage ended in divorce in 2015 after Suzanne Emma falsely accused Emeka of battery.

Emeka vehemently denies these accusations, however, those allegations had a devastating impact on Him.

As a result, his secondary school, St. Nicholas College was closed, and he experienced substantial financial setbacks.

He asserts that Suzanne’s false assault claims resulted in the loss of his properties and the closure of his school.

Suzanne also denied him access to their children.

Some of his notable roles include performances in movies like, A Million Tears, I Swear and Deadly Affairs

His work has left a lasting impact on the Nigerian entertainment scene.

Till lately, he had continued to be celebrated for his artistic achievements.
