Good times are here – Barr Imo Akpan assures RMAFC Staffers in Akwa Ibom

Federal Commissioner representing Akwa Ibom State in the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Barr. Imo Akpan, has assured the Commission’s workforce in the state of a new dawn with good tidings.
Addressing management and staff in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, Akpan declared that the Commission’s core mandate must be vigorously pursued and domesticated in Akwa Ibom State during his tenure.
Akpan promised to ensure the state office runs in synchrony with the headquarters, emphasizing teamwork to achieve great heights.

“We stand to achieve great heights if we work as a team. We must be pacesetters in the comity of RMAFC state offices,” he stated.
He assured staff that communication channels would remain open and that their concerns would be duly addressed.
The RMAFC is mandated to monitor revenue accruals and disbursements, review revenue allocation formulae, advise governments on fiscal efficiency, determine remuneration for political officeholders, and discharge other constitutional functions.
Staff members congratulated Akpan on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure. Mrs. Margaret Archibong, Deputy Director and State Coordinator, commended Akpan for being realistic about addressing operational issues in Akwa Ibom and called on him to ensure the workforce benefits from every privilege given to other states.
Mr. Tamana KpooBavi, Head of Operations, added that Akpan’s presence would help address challenges and move the RMAFC Akwa Ibom State forward.
Akpan expressed gratitude for the warm reception and assured staff of his commitment to their welfare and the Commission’s success.
The meeting ended with a renewed sense of hope among staff members that Commissioner Imo Akpan’s representation would bring good times to the RMAFC in Akwa Ibom State.
