Governor Alia hosts 2Baba, unveils ‘1 Voice Benue’ initiative in Makurdi

The Executive Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, hosted 2Face Idibia and his wife, Natasha.

The event took place on Sunday at the New Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi, the Benue State capital, Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports.

The occasion was the Induction Dinner and Official Unveiling of a New Phase of Leadership, Creativity, and Community Impact.

It brought together government officials, entertainers, creatives, and other stakeholders to discuss progress, innovation, and community engagement in Benue.

Governor Alia described the event as a convergence of talent, passion, purpose, and a commitment to transformational leadership.

In a statement shared on his verified Facebook page, he praised the contributions of 2Face Idibia to society.

He called 2Face one of Benue’s proudest sons and a global icon who inspires youth and creatives alike.

Alia said the gathering was an opportunity to highlight creative talents and chart a new course for youth empowerment.

He stated, “Yesterday at the New Banquet Hall, we witnessed a convergence of talent, passion, and purpose.”

The highlight of the event was the official presentation of the 1 Voice Benue Manifesto by the organisers.

According to Governor Alia, the manifesto is a call to action for unity, innovation, and meaningful social transformation in Benue.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting creative talents and partnering with young people to move the state forward.

The Governor emphasized that the 1 Voice Benue initiative marks the beginning of a new phase for the state.

Performances, speeches, and engaging discussions were part of the dinner programme held at the Government House venue.

Attendees expressed optimism about the potential for creative talents to influence governance and social change positively.
